1. Bonn, Germany
 


This tunnel in Bonn, Germany is created by rows upon rows of blossoming cherry trees. Unfortunately, you can only enjoy this beautiful tunnel for ten days out of the year, so savor every moment if you are lucky enough to catch this stunning sight.

Over 100 rosewood trees line this breathtaking little avenue named Rua Goncalo de Carvalho. The trees were planted 80 years ago by a German man working in the area and stand as tall as the seven story condominiums nearby. After twenty years short of a century's worth of growth, the trees now embrace one another, forming a complete tunnel which hides the road when viewed from above.
